Sky Bet Best Odds Guaranteed Promotion Explained

Sky Bet Best Odds Guaranteed pays the bigger SP on qualifying UK and Irish horse racing win and each-way bets placed from 9am to the off, but only for customers who qualified for Sky Bet Club the previous week.

Last updated 26 March 2026

Sky Bet Promotion

Sky Bet’s Best Odds Guaranteed offer applies to selected horse racing bets for customers who qualify through Sky Bet Club. In simple terms, if you take a price and the Starting Price is bigger, the bet is settled at the bigger odds instead. The offer is not open to everyone automatically, and there are several market and eligibility restrictions worth checking before relying on it.

Offer Overview

Best Odds Guaranteed at Sky Bet is available on UK and Irish horse racing, unless stated otherwise. If you place a qualifying bet on the day of the race between 9am and the race start, and the SP is bigger than the odds you took, Sky Bet says it will settle the bet at the higher SP.

This promotion only applies to win and each-way bets. It does not cover all racing bets, and it is tied to Sky Bet Club qualification rather than being a standard site-wide feature for every customer.

How It Works

To become eligible, customers need to qualify for Sky Bet Club. According to the source, that means:

  • opting into Sky Bet Club
  • choosing a weekly reward
  • betting £30 in a week by 23:59 on Sunday
  • using minimum odds of evens or bigger for qualifying bets

Cashed out bets and pool bets do not count towards Sky Bet Club qualification.

The weekly qualifying period runs from 00:00 Monday to 23:59 Sunday. Once that period ends, customers who have met the criteria become eligible for Best Odds Guaranteed in the following week, provided they remain opted into Sky Bet Club.

There is no separate opt-in for Best Odds Guaranteed itself. If you are a qualifying Sky Bet Club customer and you take a price on an eligible race, Sky Bet says the bigger SP is applied automatically when the bet is settled.

If you do not take a price, the bet is simply settled at SP under the usual racing rules.

The source also notes that when Sky Bet Club qualification is being calculated, it is the price originally taken that counts, not any later Best Odds Guaranteed uplift.

A few restrictions are especially important:

  • Best Odds Guaranteed is only for customers who qualified for Sky Bet Club in the previous week relevant to the race day.
  • It applies only to bets struck on the day of the race, from 9am until the off.
  • It is limited to the win or each-way market.
  • It does not apply to international racing unless Sky Bet states otherwise.
  • It does not apply to ante post bets, tote bets, pari-mutuel betting, enhanced accumulators, packaged multiples, Price Boosts, Price Boost Multiples, Money Back As Cash races, Extra Place races or other specials.
  • It does not apply to in-running racing bets.

Sky Bet also lists account-level reasons why a customer may be excluded, including self-exclusion or cool-off status, certain betting patterns, liability management decisions, suspected promotion abuse and fraudulent activity. Customers previously excluded from Sky Betting & Gaming offers are also not eligible.

There are also payout limits on the uplift created by the offer. The maximum increase from Best Odds Guaranteed is capped at £50,000 per bet or per race for horse racing. Where there are repeat bets involving the same selections in the same races, the maximum uplift for an individual customer is £25,000 per race.

For bets affected by a Rule 4 deduction, the deduction still applies unless the horse returns at a bigger SP. In that case, the return is paid at SP without the Rule 4 deduction.

The source states the promotion has been available since 15 January 2024 and continues until Sky Betting and Gaming ends it with notice.

Who This Promotion Suits

This offer is most relevant for regular Sky Bet racing customers who already expect to qualify for Sky Bet Club each week. It may be useful for punters who place daytime horse racing bets before the off and want some protection if the SP drifts.

It is less suitable for anyone who mainly bets ante post, uses in-running markets, focuses on specials such as Extra Place or Price Boosts, or does not meet the weekly Sky Bet Club requirements. If you are not consistently qualifying for the club, access to the offer can be lost from one week to the next.

Final Word

Sky Bet’s Best Odds Guaranteed promotion is straightforward in principle: if the SP is bigger than the price you took on an eligible horse racing bet, the bigger price is used. The main point to understand is that access depends on Sky Bet Club qualification, and the offer comes with clear exclusions around market type, timing and account eligibility.

For customers already meeting the weekly club criteria, it can add value on UK and Irish racing bets placed on the day of the race. For everyone else, the restrictions matter just as much as the headline benefit.
